Following a series of portfolio acquisitions, we inherited seven separate Active Directory domains with no common identity layer, no cloud presence, and 1,400 on-premises Exchange mailboxes across different server generations. ASP Consulting designed and executed the full programme — AD forest consolidation with ADMT, Entra Connect hybrid identity, Exchange Online migration, and SharePoint Online replacing three legacy intranet platforms. We made the decision to move our entire organisation to Microsoft 365 and needed a partner who could own the full scope — not just the technical deployment, but the change management and adoption programme that makes the difference between a migration and a transformation. ASP Consulting built the tenant from the ground up, configured governance and security baselines, migrated our mailboxes and collaboration data, and delivered a structured adoption programme across all departments. Six months on, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive are core to how our teams operate. Adoption metrics exceeded every benchmark we were given. They treated this project as if it were their own organisation.
Our EMEA manufacturing sites presented three distinct device challenges simultaneously: standard Windows endpoints with no compliance baseline, rugged Zebra and Honeywell devices used in logistics and warehouse operations, and OT-adjacent Windows workstations on the factory floor requiring a management approach that would not interfere with production systems. ASP Consulting delivered Intune co-management for the standard estate, purpose-built configuration profiles for the rugged fleet, and a clearly defined OT boundary policy that satisfied both our IT security team and our plant operations managers. Teams Phone System went live across four sites in parallel. Compliance across all three device classes moved from 34% to 97% enrolled within eight weeks.
Migrating 32,000 mailboxes from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online in an FCA-regulated environment — with zero data loss tolerance and full audit trail continuity — is a project most partners decline to scope properly. ASP Consulting ran the cutover across eight phased weekend windows, with Conditional Access hardening and Microsoft Purview sensitivity labelling implemented before a single mailbox moved. No FCA-reportable incidents. No data loss. No Monday morning escalations. They built security into the migration architecture from day one rather than treating compliance as a post-go-live task.
